Veronica Meza

Veronica Meza earned a bachelor’s degree in Literature and Drama from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, with additional study at The National Institute of Arts in Mexico. She holds a Master Degree in Spanish from Bennington College. Along with extensive theatre work in Mexico City, Veronica taught Spanish and drama to junior and high school students, and participated as an actress in El Cervantino and
the Houston International Festival.  She was an assistant director and assistant producer from important Mexican personalities.

As a manager of the Spanish Literacy program at Harbor College Job Placement Center in Los Angeles, she taught adults to read and write
in their own language and tutored them in math and GED classes.

 Since 2001, she is a Spanish Teacher and the Spanish Department Chair at The Girls’ Middle School in Mountain View, CA. In 2003, she created Teatro Nahual and has enjoyed the great success of 9 plays. Veronica is a Spanish playwright, being the more recently “Strike
without Sticks”.  She is an experience Spanish language director and acting instructor. For many years, Veronica has developed her own methodology to lead beginning, intermediate and advanced Spanish acting classes. The acting classes are taught in the auditorium of The National Hispanic University and the Latino College. Veronica is a reporter in Alianza Metropolitan News. She got a national honorable mention for her education article in 2004. In 2009, Veronica was honored with a Golden Award from the National Hispanic Publications with the article: GED Diploma in ten weeks.
